Second-rounder Thomas ends holdout, joins Vikings

Mankato, MN (Sports Network) - Second-round draft choice Dontarrious Thomas has signed with the Minnesota Vikings, ending a two-day holdout. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Thomas, a linebacker from Auburn, was selected 48th overall, marking the fourth time in the Vikings' 44 drafts that the club selected defensive players with the first three selections.
He played middle linebacker for Auburn as a senior and earned a spot on the Butkus Award Watch list the same year.
Thomas is the final member of Minnesota's eight-player draft class of 2004 to sign.
