Macomb, IL (Sports Network) - St. Louis Rams right tackle Kyle Turley re-injured his surgically repaired back during a Saturday morning practice.
Turley, who had been seeing limited action thus far in training camp as he rebuilds his strength, was carted off for further examination. The team is calling the injury as a strain until test results come available.
The Rams acquired Turley from New Orleans prior to the 2003 season in exchange for a second-round pick in the most recent NFL Draft. Turley started in all 16 games in his first year with St. Louis.
