Greenville, SC (Sports Network) - No. 8 overall draft pick DeAngelo Hall is expected to end his holdout and report to Atlanta Falcons training camp on Tuesday after agreeing to terms on a contract.
Including Tuesday morning's workout, Hall has missed 10 practices in seven days, but the team expects him to participate in the evening session.
Hall is expected to enter camp as the starting left cornerback. During his junior season at Virginia Tech, the 5-foot-10, 202-pound Hall played all 13 games as the Hokies went 8-5. On the few occasions opponents threw his way, Hall recorded one interception and five pass breakups, while also recovering a fumble for a touchdown and totaling 93 tackles.
An all-purpose threat, Hall returned 33 punts for 487 yards and three touchdowns. Offensively, he reeled in seven catches for 86 yards and three scores and rushed twice for 24 yards and one touchdown.
Hall is the last of Atlanta's seven draft picks to sign. The Falcons open preseason action on August 12 against the Baltimore Ravens.
