Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The preseason game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been rescheduled for Monday night at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (et).

The exhibition was originally slated for Saturday night, but the threat of Hurricane Charley in southern Florida forced the Tampa Sports Authority to postpone the game on Friday.

Officials believed it would not have enough law enforcement and emergency personnel available to staff the game on the weekend.

With winds reaching 145 m.p.h., Charley hit the Florida coast Friday. Emergency personnel issued evacuation warnings from the Florida Keys up through southwest Florida into the Tampa area the previous day.

The Tampa area was largely unaffected by the storm, which caused major damage to Florida's coastal areas.
