Macomb, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago Bears defensive back/kick returner Jerry Azumah is expected to undergo neck surgery and will miss the next three to four months of action.
Azumah, who has a disc problem, is scheduled to have the procedure performed on Saturday.
The six-year pro out of New Hampshire posted 79 tackles, one sack and four interceptions in 16 games (13 starts) last season.
Azumah, 26, led the NFL in kickoff return average last season and ran two back for scores.
