Bears, Dolphins agree to trade All-Pros

(Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins have swapped two former All-Pros, as the Bears acquired left defensive end Adewale Ogunleye from the Dolphins in exchange for receiver Marty Booker and a 2005 third-round draft pick.

The deal was originally agreed upon earlier Saturday, but Ogunleye needed to reach a contract agreement before agreeing to the trade. That deal was made, as he reportedly agreed to a six-year contract worth $36 million, with a $15 million signing bonus.

The 28-year-old Booker is a welcome addition to Miami's passing game, which is already without wideout David Boston for the season. Booker had spent his first five seasons in the Windy City. In 69 career games -- 56 starts -- Booker has caught 315 passes for 3,684 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Booker, a 2002 Pro Bowl selection, had 52 receptions for 715 yards with four touchdowns last year. He leaves the Bears after catching more passes in his first five seasons (315) than any receiver in franchise history. He ranks fifth on the club's all-time list in receptions and sixth in yards with 3,684.

Ogunleye, a four-year pro out of Indiana, recorded a career-high 15 sacks last season en route to his first Pro-Bowl selection. For his career, the 6-4, 260- pounder has 76 solo tackles and 25 sacks.
