Arizona DE Wakefield out with stress fracture

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Arizona Cardinals defensive end Fred Wakefield has a stress fracture in his right foot and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks.
The injury is the latest for the Cardinals, who are already without running back Marcel Shipp (broken leg), wide receiver Anquan Boldin (right knee), defensive tackle Kenny King (broken wrist), fullback James Hodgins (shoulder) and receiver Bryant Johnson (broken right foot).
The 6'7", 290-pounder appeared in 10 games with five starts for the Cardinals last season. He registered 19 solo tackles, 14 assists, and one sack.
