Jags sign Christie

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed veteran placekicker Steve Christie to an undisclosed contract on Thursday.

Christie, a 14-year veteran, spent the previous three seasons with San Diego. He has also played for Buffalo and Tampa Bay, playing in a total of 213 games and recording 1,377 points which ranks 15th all-time.

Last year with the Chargers, Christie hit 15-of-20 field goals, going a perfect 10-for-10 from 39 yards and closer. The 36-year-old also hit all 36 of his PAT attempts.
