Dolphins To Unveil Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar

(miamidolphins.com) - The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders will introduce their breakthrough 2005 Swimsuit Calendar at the Fort Lauderdale Quarterdeck Restaurant on Saturday, August 28. The unveiling will coincide with a Dolphins Watch Party, hosted by the squad as part of the Dolphins’ 2004 Countdown to Kickoff, from 6-9 p.m. at the 2933 E. Las Olas Blvd. location.

The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders continue to exemplify beautiful, intelligent women who share a love of sports and dancing. Their 2005 Swimsuit Calendar captures the feminine aspects of these sideline entertainers and, for the first time, the personalities and physiques of the players on the field.

The 2005 calendar is on the cutting edge as it takes the unprecedented step of including actual NFL players in a cheerleader calendar for the first time in league history. The artwork presents All-Pro Miami Dolphins Jason Taylor, Junior Seau and Olindo Mare, as well as emerging star Chris Chambers, as they are featured with members of the team’s cheerleading squad, showing the athletes in a setting unique to South Florida.

"This is the tenth annual Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar and by far the best," says Dolphin Digest Editor Andy Cohen. "The caliber can be compared to both Sports Illustrated
and Maxim Magazine."

The poster-like 14 x 24 inch monthly photos were taken in picturesque locations throughout the Florida Keys of the ladies wearing beautiful Brazilian-style swimsuits that display their athletic physiques.
