Dolphins' David Boston injures knee during practice

Houston (sun-sentinel.com) - Dolphins wide receiver David Boston suffered a left knee injury during Friday afternoon's joint practice with the Houston Texans.

Boston fell to the ground while running underneath a deep pass from quarterback Jay Fiedler. The extent of the injury was not immediately available, but Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt said Boston hurt his patella tendon.

Boston, who is fitted with a brace, is expected to undergo further testing in Houston. Boston's status for Saturday's scrimmage against the Texans was not immediately known.
