Colts' Walters breaks arm
Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Troy Walters suffered a broken right arm during Saturday's preseason game against the New York Jets at the RCA Dome.
The injury occurred early in the first quarter while Walters was trying to catch a deep pass over the middle. He reached up for the ball and Jets safety Jon McGraw hit him hard up high. Walters went down and remained on the field for several minutes, with Colts head coach Tony Dungy and members of the team's medical staff around the wideout.
Walters eventually walked off the field and went right to the locker room, but did so holding his right arm.
The 5-7, 173-pound Walters set career-highs with 36 receptions and 456 yards last season, his fourth in the NFL.
